Nothing to install

Finance tools that live in an app are only open when you remember to open them. WhatsApp is already on your phone, already signed in, and already the place you answer messages. That is the whole point: the question you have at nine at night, in the car park before a meeting, or halfway through a supplier call is the question that actually gets asked.

Send a voice note if it is easier than typing. It is transcribed and answered the same way, which is the part an app on a home screen cannot match: you already know how to do it.

You can ask from the dashboard too. Most people do both.

What people ask it

“Can I afford this hire?”

Answered against your actual runway, not a rule of thumb.

“Who owes me money?”

Your overdue list, largest first, with how late each one is.

“What is my runway?”

Months of cover at your recent average spending.

“How did last month go?”

Revenue, costs and profit for the last month that closed.

Ask in plain English. There is no syntax to learn and no report to choose from a menu, because the thing on the other end already knows which business you are asking about and where its numbers come from.

It messages you first

Your accounting software answers whatever you ask it. It just never starts the conversation. CFO Pal does: a written summary every Monday, and a message the same day something moves, whether that is cash falling towards the minimum you set, an invoice going overdue or a cost category running hot.

You choose which of those arrive by WhatsApp, which by email and which by SMS, per alert, in your settings. Switch any of them off and they stop.

Every figure comes from your ledger

CFO Pal does not estimate and it does not do arithmetic of its own. Every number in a reply is one computed from your accounts and checked before it is shown, and when a set of figures does not reconcile it says so rather than quoting them anyway.

It reads your accounting data and never writes to it. If you run more than one business you can switch between them in the conversation, and it answers for the one you are on.
